Hall Grove is a co-educational day and weekly boarding school of some 450 pupils, set in 40 acres of its own grounds located between Bagshot and Windlesham. Hall Grove is different to most schools. It is genuinely a family school, owned and managed by the same family since its foundation 60 years ago.

It enjoys a beautiful parkland setting, yet is within easy reach of West London being just 20 miles from Richmond via the M3. Daily transport is provided from London, however, Monday to Friday flexi boarding is a popular option.

Pastoral care is exceptional. Hall Grove is a strong community with happy children and supportive parents. We foster a real ‘can-do’ attitude amongst the pupils; all children are encouraged to take full advantage of the many wide-ranging activities including bushcraft, riding, gardening, golf and tennis. Further enrichment is provided by regular visits to Battisborough House, our own field study centre on the beautiful Devon coast. There are many educational outings as well as expeditions overseas. Music, Sport, Art and Drama are all exceptionally strong.

Academic standards are high and our pupils consistently achieve well in both Common Entrance and Senior School entrance examinations. Details of the destination schools for the last school year are published for parents in our School Notes publication in the Summer Term, which is also available on request to prospective parents. In recent years pupils have won major scholarships to Bradfield College, Caterham, Charterhouse, Eton, Hampton, Harrow, St George’s College Weybridge, Wellington College, Westminster, and Whitgift. There is an outstanding Classics department that regularly achieves top grades for its pupils in Latin and Greek. Science, Technology and Performing Arts are popular subjects.

Major entry points for boys and girls are at 3, 4, 7 and 11.
